These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the LiftBay website and to every purchase you make from LiftBay ("LiftBay", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About these Terms
These Terms should be read together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. We currently sell and ship only to addresses in the 48 contiguous United States.
3. Products and specifications
We describe our products as accurately as we can, using information from the manufacturers. Product photos are for illustration, and colors or minor details may vary. Manufacturers may update specifications without notice. You are responsible for checking that a lift is suitable for your space, floor, power supply and vehicles before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us before you buy.
4. Prices
All prices are in U.S. dollars. The price shown on the product page at the time you place your order is the price you pay for the item. Shipping to the contiguous United States is free. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Where a "compare at" price is shown, it reflects a previous or reference price for the same item. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before shipping and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. Your order is accepted when we confirm it and take payment. We may decline or cancel an order if the item is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we cannot verify payment or delivery details; if we do, we will tell you and refund any amount charged in full.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our secure, encrypted payment provider using the payment methods displayed there. We do not see or store your full card details. By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method.
7. Shipping and delivery
Delivery is by freight truck, curbside, as described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your shipment before signing for it and report any damage within 48 hours.
8. Returns, refunds and cancellations
You may cancel an order free of charge before it ships. Returns and refunds are handled under our Returns & Refunds policy, which includes a 30-day return window and no restocking fee.
9. Warranty
Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty supplied with the product. We will help you make and follow up on a warranty claim. Except for the manufacturer's warranty and any rights you have under law, products are sold without additional warranties from LiftBay. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Installation and safe use
Vehicle lifts are heavy equipment. They must be installed on suitable concrete, according to the manufacturer's instructions and any local building codes, by a qualified person. Always follow the manufacturer's operating and safety instructions, never exceed the rated capacity, and use the safety locks. LiftBay does not install lifts. We are not responsible for injury, damage or loss caused by incorrect installation, misuse, overloading, modification or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiftBay's total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12. Website use and content
You may use this website for personal, lawful shopping purposes. You may not misuse it, attempt to disrupt it or copy its content for commercial use without our permission. Product names and brand names belong to their respective owners.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LiftBay is registered, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the state where you live. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it quickly and informally.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown on this page at the time of your order applies to that order. The date at the top shows when the Terms were last updated.
